Who doesn’t love sidewalk chalk drawings?  Especially this time of year with the crackle of leaves blowing over the top!  Spooky!!  This idea and tons more Halloween ideas are over on the Crayola website.

Claudine’s Haunted House

Oh, Claudine Hellmuth!  How do you do it?  These are the sweetest haunted houses ever!  They are featured in the October 2011 Scrapbooks magazine and Claudine has a tutorial for them on her blog with templates even!

Thinking ahead here, but I bet you could make a wintery version of these too.  Break out the white batting and glass glitter!

Acorn Crafts

We love these little acorn cuties, don’t we?

These are inspired by Betz White.  She made them with felt balls.  For the ones above, I glued any kind of big bead I could find—wood and lucite mainly.

My pal Amy and I collected some acorns this time last year.

Look!  So fun!  Scatter them around your house.  They’ll make you smile.  Promise!

Acorn Fairy Clothespin Doll

Me and my Momma whipped these Acorn Fairy clothespins dolls up for the Plaid Kids Blog!  It’s so fun to scavenge for acorns.  You’ll find one or two have been nibbled on by the squirrels but that’s ok because all you need are the caps.  That works out for you and the squirrel.  Super, huh? Check out the tutorial there!
